Today I learned that Americans collectively eat one hundred pounds of chocolate every second. The average person in America will eat about 12 pounds of chocolate, if you multiply that number by the average life expectancy for a United States citizen (78.2) it comes out to around 938 pounds of chocolate that a human will consume in his/her lifetime.
