11-18-12 What I learned about today

Today I learned about the Jimmy Fund, it was created after The Boston Braves (now the Boston Red Sox) recorded their visit to a child with cancer on national radio broadcasts. Today The Jimmy Fund donates millions of dollars to cancer research primarily at the Dana Farber Institute per year. A fun fact is that Jimmy of The Jimmy Funds' real name was actually Einar Gustafson.
