11-15-12 What I learned Today

Today I learned that during a Mars winter 20% of the air on Mars freezes. The reasons for this are because of the fact that Mars is farther from the Sun then Earth. The winter on Mars is also a total of 146 days long which is 59 days longer then we have. That fact might contribute to the frozen air as it has more time to freeze compared to the air on Earth.
